The build of a Women's Shelter posed some initial challenges for the general contractor and WesternOne. As a large commercial facility, it was crucial to ensure that all WEDGE sensors were in place for optimized temperature and humidity monitoring during a concrete pour. During the install phase for this project, warmer-than-usual winter temperatures delayed the scheduled installation of WEDGE. However, once sensors were installed, the general contractor expressed immediate positive feedback on the potential savings WEDGE could provide.
Prior to implementing WEDGE, personnel would be sent out after-hours to do spot checks on the internal temperature of recently poured concrete – similar to most other contractors.
The client was already familiar with the benefits of WEDGE but wanted to have access to data and analytics that demonstrated how they could realize significant savings with the system. The contractor wanted WesternOne to provide the All-In Service package with project management and WEDGE in-sync. Our team was successful in doing so through exceptional customer service and prompt responses to requests. As a result, we have developed a strong business relationship with this client and continue to provide a high level of care in all interactions.
The experience with this particular client has helped to set the standard for all future projects with WEDGE and beyond.
